Not All Posts Are Created Equal
With the world moving more and more online, it's important to fully understand how to ensure your message stands out against the competition. Here are a few tips to ensure you are creating quality content for your social media outlets:
1. What's The Point? If you are posting content without asking this important question, STOP RIGHT NOW! Why are you reaching out to the audience? What do you want them to do with your messaging? Is it meant to inform? Inspire? Identifying the point of why you are speaking is just as important as the post itself. Answering this simple question will ensure that you are always providing quality content for your readers that will keep them coming back time and time again.
2. Cut To The Chase! The worst thing a business can do is force readers to read between the lines or worse, search for the point of a post. Cut to the chase and give them what they're desiring from the moment they begin reading. Otherwise, their few seconds of focus on your company is gone and they are on to the next post in their feed.
3. Leave Them Wanting More! Give your audience a taste of what is to be found beyond the post by providing links to a more information or downloadable content. This simple step supplies your company with a bit of a boost and offers your audience the opportunity to share your content with those they know.
